The third and final round of this years National Arena League was held at the Glass Mill leisure Centre, Lewisham. Anaconda qualified for the Division 1 final seeded 8th and although the club had late withdrawals on the day, the squad performed brilliantly to finish 4th on the night and finish 6th in the final league standings. An outstanding improvement on last years campaign when Anaconda finished 12th in Division 1.

Anaconda had 16 podium finishes on the night where the standard of swimming was of  a very high standard and made for an exciting evening of racing.

Our first victory of the evening came from the Girls 15/u 4x50m freestyle relay team which consisted of Emily Thomas(15) Alice Hockey(14) Jess Neale(15)and Elena Dewhurst(13) the girls stormed home in a time of 1:55.27. Elena Dewhurst (13)certainly did her bit for the team by swimming up in the 15/u 100m free and 100m backstroke and clinched 3rd place in both races with 1:03.11 and 1:11.77 respectively. The relay teams also had 3rd place finishes, with the Girls 13/u 4x50m free squad of Harriette Sebag-Montefiore(12), Alice Bayley(12), Sadie Goldin (12) and Elena Dewhurst (13) coming home in 2:01.35.
